ABOUT US 

The association "Friends of Krakow" Polish name Stowarzyszenie "Przyjaciele Krakowa" was born in Krakow and at home by a group of friends who love art, history, culture and natural beauty found in Krakow and the region of Malopolska.

The aims of the Association are:

a) involve people interested in history and cultural heritage of Krakow and its surroundings;

b) organize events to promote the Malopolska region;

c) promotion of cultural events and recreational premises;

d) promotion of the Malopolska Region through proposals of visits based on the principles of responsible tourism;

e) promoting and disseminating the principles of responsible tourism based on respect for the rules of social justice, economic, natural environment and cultural heritage of the country visited;

f) promote the spirit of responsible tourist through initiatives by other organizations that offer this type of tourism.

 

The Association achieves its aims not for profit through:

a) the promotion of historical, cultural, artistic and natural surroundings and the Krakow and Malopolska Region;

b) the action of promoting knowledge of manners and customs of Krakow and its inhabitants;

c) the promotion and organization of sightseeing in the region of Malopolska for members working with tour operators and travel agencies which is characterized by the rules of responsible tourism;

d) the dissemination and promotion d 'initiatives tour operators and travel agencies in national and international responsible tourism;

e) cooperation with institutions and associations that promote national and international initiatives based on the principles of responsible tourism;

f) the dissemination of the principles of responsible tourism on media and internet;

g) organization of meetings to make known the principles of responsible tourism;

h) collaboration with national and municipal associations and social organizations, and other national and international institutions with similar purpose.
